Feelings before the ligation

The couple talked about having children and walked along the beach hand in hand, warm with love and the feeling that Christ was guiding and walking right alongside of them.

Julianne thought about the selfish idea of having sex all the time and not ever having to worry about getting pregnant. She was wondering if God was mad at Julianne for doing this.
She decided to go into denial.
She felt mad at herself.
They felt that the convenience of having sex all the time lessened its meaning and glamour. Sex suddenly lost all its appeal.
She didn't even desire to have sex. That was her body, and she was in control.
She decided to deny herself to her husband and felt out of control.
She felt the emptiness of the presence of an extra daughter that should be there.
She decided then to go to confession.
The couple planned to reverse the ligation.
They underwent both community support and criticism.
They did have a concern about a possible operation failure.

After ligation reversal, Julianne is able to conceive.
Their lives have become fuller, richer, and more meaningful since their daughter’s arrival.
